Who knew that pesky algal bloom in your fish tank could power a jet from Houston to Chicago? Thanks to innovations from Honeywell and Solazyme, a Continental Airlines plane made just such a flight using a blend of 60% traditional petroleum-based jet fuel and 40% biofuel.
